Loudoun's
Young Entrepreneurs Forum
Inspiration, Innovation, Intellection

About the Forum
Welcome to Loudoun's Young Entrepreneurs Forum (LYEF). LYEF is a student organized incubator, made to support and encourage youth innovation and entrepreneurship in Loudoun County. The mission of LYEF is to pose as a platform for innovative thinking and creativity as students exchange ideas to help impact our community with projects combining everyone's expertise.
KITE
KITE is the thinking and working process that is incorporated into LYEF. KITE stands for Knowledge, Ideation, Technology, and Execution each of which is a key pillar of LYEF.
Knowledge
At LYEF we use knowledge to broaden and deepen skill sets. This is done by equiping the young entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and tools for entrepreneurial pursuit.

Ideation
Using ideation, LYEF grows and builds ideas through inspiration, growth, and implementation. This is achieved through competitions, challenges, and startup positions.

Technology
Students will learn to enhance and innovate upon their ideas. Once ideas are developed and created, we begin having students expand on those ideas using innovation and technology. Students will have the opportunity to develop their own prototypes.

Execution
We want to help our students create value and impacts to our community. The goal is to help our members to build their products and penetrate markets through market exposure programs specialized to student's needs, and mentorship.
